Creating conversations
Setting up a conversation takes a few minutes. You tell hollie what you want to learn, shape the questions she’ll ask, and choose your settings.
Tell hollie what you want to learn
Start a new conversation and you’ll see one prompt: what do you want to learn? Type it in plain language, for example “find out why people churn after the first month”, and hollie drafts the whole thing for you. A clear goal, and a set of open questions built to reach it.
Prefer to build it yourself? Start from scratch and add questions one at a time.
Shape the questions
hollie’s draft is a starting point, not a cage. Every question is yours to edit, reorder, or remove, and you can add your own. Keep them open. hollie follows the thread wherever a person takes it, so you never have to script every branch.
hollie won’t march through a checklist. She reads what each person says and leans in where the depth is, so no two conversations come out the same.
Set the goal and the tone
Behind Settings sits the Goal: a sentence or two telling hollie what this is really about. It steers her tone and the follow-ups she reaches for. “Capture success stories for case studies” gets you something very different from “find out what nearly stopped them buying”. Be specific.
Choose audio or video
In Settings, pick Audio for a voice-only conversation, or Video to record camera and audio for visual testimonials. Everything else, response limits, language, scheduling, lives in the same panel. See Advanced settings for each option. The defaults work for most.
Go live
Create your conversation and you land on its page, with sharing ready to go.
Every setting can be adjusted after you go live, so there’s no need to get it perfect up front.
